Are previous winners eligible?×
Will you accept nominations by mail, fax or in person? ×
No. This year the application/nomination process will be conducted entirely online.

We respect your privacy. We do not sell or share your personal data or information with any third parties for marketing purposes. However, we do reserve the right to use relevant information provided in these nominations in the awards presentation and associated publicity.

Though we admire and respect the contributions made by all who work in education, these awards were created to honor public school educators specifically, so educators who work for publicly funded charter schools are eligible, but private school educators are not.

Does a teacher have to be in the same school or grade for all five years of the eligibility period to qualify?×
May I nominate the family member of a previous winner?×
Yes. For example, in the history of the awards, there are cases of spouses who are both teachers and each won the award in different years.
